A mattress is one of the few things you can't set on the curb in most of the metro. They're bulky, they don't compress, and a lot of transfer stations either won't take them or charge extra because they jam up the machinery. That's why they end up leaning against the garage wall for months. We take them straight off your hands, and where we can we send them to a recycler that breaks down the steel springs, foam, and wood instead of sending the whole thing to the landfill. Box springs, frames, and bed bases go too.
